About this model
Overview
The Ruby Platinum is a metal-bodied direct vent gas insert for an existing fireplace, supplied as a complete configuration rather than a bare appliance. Models are listed at 30 and 35 inches, each also offered with birch logs instead of the standard set.
Equipment includes the IntelliFire Touch ignition system with battery backup, an RC450 remote, eight ceramic fibre logs, a GFK-160A variable fan, an LED ember bed, decorative brick base and ceramic glass. The 30 inch model is rated 18,900 to 27,000 BTU/hr on natural gas. Interiors and fronts are chosen when ordering, and the price quoted by the retailer includes a standard direct-vent liner kit.
