About this model
Overview
The Oakville is a direct vent gas insert built to sit inside an existing fireplace, drawing combustion air from outside and exhausting through the same lined route. It is listed in three models: the 3 Glass, which burns over a glass media bed, and the X3 and X4, which use traditional log sets.
Ignition is electronic and the appliance is listed for natural gas, with propane available by special order. The face can be completed with a cast iron surround in black or a three-sided black backerplate, or left to the finish of the opening. Vent and liner components are specified with the insert.
