Dryer vent cleaning prices are usually written as a vague "starting at $99" — which is fine until you find out your roof exit, long run, or 3 years of buildup pushes the real price somewhere else entirely. So here's the straight answer for 2026:
- Standard service — $249 — ground-floor wall exit, short straight run, recently cleaned
- Premium service — $449 — roof exit, run over 25 ft, multiple bends, OR 3+ years since last cleaning

What drives the price
WHAT MAKES ONE DRYER VENT CLEANING COST MORE THAN ANOTHER
VENT EXIT LOCATION
Ground-floor wall exits are the easiest — we work directly at the dryer and the exterior cap. Roof exits require ladder work, sometimes fall protection, and more time on top of the house. A roof exit alone can shift the price by $30–$70 toward the high end.
VENT LENGTH & BENDS
A straight, under-15-foot vent run cleans quickly. A 25+ foot run with 3 or more elbows requires more passes, multiple access points, and longer lint extraction. We bring different brush lengths to handle any layout, but longer and curvier runs simply take more time.
LINT BUILDUP
A vent cleaned in the last year typically has a thin layer of lint we can remove in one pass. A vent untouched for 3+ years often has compressed, glued-down lint near bends and possibly nesting material — we bring extraction tools and may need extra passes. The longer you wait, the closer you'll be to the high end.
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED
If your exterior vent cap is damaged, cracked, or missing its bird guard, replacement is quoted separately on-site (no surprise add to the calculator price). Most homes don't need it — but if yours does, we'll show you the damage and price the part before we do anything.
